Specific focus on educating the kids on the importance of oral hygiene. This helps them to understand various aspects of dental procedures effectively from an early stage of life.

Your Child’s First Check Up

As a parent, you should take your child to the dentist for dental examination by age two to two and a half. The first dental visit includes a full exam of the teeth, jaws, bite, gums and oral tissues to check growth and development.

Our dental health educator will give you nutritional advice and home care instruction.

Making Children Comfortable

• With parental consent we can provide relative analgesia, a method of breathing a mixture of nitrous oxide (laughing gas) and oxygen.

• Comfortable seating

Orthodontics for Kids

It can begin as early as age 6 or 7. At this age, teeth are still developing and the jaw is still growing. That means certain conditions, such as crowding, may be easier to address.

Dental Health Educator for Kids

We have a dental health educator who works from our Bayside Dental Discovery Bay practice. She can visit schools or community groups to educate children of all ages about managing their dental health.

The major focus points of the educator are:
• Develop the habit of brushing the teeth twice a day.
• Reduce the snacking habits.
• Teach about balanced diet.
