Dental Implants in Central Hong Kong

A Natural-Looking Option

patient smiling up at dentistAt Diestel & Partners, we want to help you keep your natural teeth healthy for as long as possible. But when that’s not possible, we offer cutting-edge solutions to keep your smile beautiful for life. Dental implants offer one of the best and most natural-looking options for replacing missing teeth. These artificial tooth roots can be used to replace one or multiple teeth, or to anchor a bridge.

Typically made of titanium, the implant fuses with your natural bone to create an artificial tooth root. A crown is usually placed on the implant, creating the look and feel of your own natural smile. One of the advantages of implants is that they don’t require any alteration of the adjacent teeth.

What to Expect

We have several dentists who provide the service, as well as an oral surgeon who can do bone grafts if needed. We do a thorough examination to assess the condition of your teeth and gums. We will do a CT scan in-house to assess whether you have enough bone to support the implant.

Once we’ve completed our examination and scans, we’ll explain the whole process to you, as well as the pros and cons of implants versus bridges. We’ll let you know how long it will take to heal, and if bone grafting will be needed. We’ll also show you a gallery of before and after photos of other patients with dental implants.

At your surgical appointment, we will implant a titanium post. We offer various sedation options, depending on your personal needs. Once the bone has healed, which takes about six weeks, we’ll fit a connector post to the implant and make an impression to create a crown or bridge. We’ll fit your crown or bridge at your next appointment.

How Long Do Implants Last?

With proper oral hygiene, a successful dental implant can last a lifetime. The documented success rate of our implants is 35 years with a 95% success rate.
